Interviewed by Brian McAvera for the Irish Arts Review he confessed he’d once had a good canvas carried off by the wind and dumped in the ocean. Today he ties his equipment together with rope and uses a two foot square slab of toughened glass as a palette placed on an old workmate which is collapsible but heavy so it doesn’t blow over.
