Today she is represented in all of the major collections and is much sought after by private collectors. Early influences are Paul Klee, Francis Bacon and Lucien Freud. Souter has ploughed her own field, to become a major Irish female artist of the 20th and 21st Century. This painting from the Gordon Lambert collection, inspired from her period in Italy was exhibited in the Irish Living Art Exhibition.
